SALKANTAY - MACHUPICCHU

4 days - 3 nights

DAY 1 MOLLEPATA – SALKANTAY – ARANAYANIYOC

Transfer from the hotel to the bus station, 3 hour trip to
Mollepata where we stop for breakfast and shopping by our staff, then we continue one more hour by bus as far as Soray pampa 3850 m where we start the tour , we stop for lunch in Salkantay pampa 4000m then we climb to the highest pass
4600 m.u,a,s,l where we stop for offerings and snapshots .
We descend in the afternoon to Arayaniyoc small village where we camp
DAY 2 ARANAYANIYOC – PLAYA
We leave very early after breakfast; we continue descending and enjoy the landscape which turns out different as we enter the hot zone with its big fruit trees, orchids, waterfalls, Andean towns as far as
LLuskamayu (2600 m.u.a-s.l) where we have lunch, finally we camp at
Playa (2400 m.) after a seven hour walk

DAY 3

Program 1

PLAYA - SANTA TERESA - AGUAS CALIENTES

This day we take the bus service to Santa Teresa at this point we continue our walk following the road for 2 hours as far as the Hydroelectric last train station, where we have lunch then we continue walking following the track for 3 hours in the Urubamba canyon as far as our destiny Machupicchu town (2000 m.u.a.s.l) or Aguas Calientes hot spring where we eat at the restaurant. We stay over night

Program 2

LUCMABAMBA – LLACTAPATA - AGUAS CALIENTES

After our breakfast we go on to Lucma Bamba where the (Capacñan) starts which is quechua Word that means “Main Inca Road” next we go up to the highest point of the mountain or LLactapata small original Inca town hidden in time among the bushes, a place that is little-known where the sight of Machupicchu is spectacular this is right in front
Then we go down to the Hydroelectric in order to catch the train to Aguas Calientes where we have lunch and stay overnight

DAY 4 MACHUPICHU – CUSCO

We walk up to Machupicchu (2400 m.s.n.m) 1 hour approximately, we leave very early 5:00 a.m., alter waiting for down little people at this time our guide guides for 2 hours in the Lost City of the Incas after wards every one has free and in the afternoon, we return to Aguas Calientes where we take the train back to Cusco end of service
