CHOQUEQUIRAO

DAY 1 CACHORA – CHIQUISCA

Pick up at the hotel at approximately 5am, bus tour until 8am to Cachora
Where we have breakfast in this place we organize our expedition with our horse leader and mules
Further 3 hour walk lunch in the middle of the road, in the afternoon we will descend 1900 m.u.a.s.l to Chiquisca where we camp

DAY 2 CHIQUISCA – CHOQUEQUIRAO

We recommend to leave very early in the morning because the trip is hard steep and zigzagging with a few streams and lots of mosquitoes as far as Marampata lunch stop and then after a 7 hour walk we reach
Choquequirao where we will camp..

DAY 3 CHOQUEQUIRAO - CHIQUISCA

We have the whole morning to explore the site with our guide, and we see the recent diggings then the trail gets easier since we go down hill as far as Marampata and next we continue to Santa Rosa where liquor is made from sugar cane, then we go back to the same place Chiquisca.

DAY 4 CHIQUISCA – CACHORA

Like the 2nd day we have to climb up hill for 6 hours to Cachora where we have lunch and we say good bye to the horsemen.
We will get to Cusco from 5 to 6P.M. Transfer to the hotel and end of the service
