INCA TRAIL WIÑAY WAYNA – MACHUPICCHU

DIA 1 KM104 – WIÑAYWAYNA – INTIPUNCU

We pick you up from the hotel to the train station at 5:30 A.M.
We travel for about 4 hours until we reach Km104 (Chachabamba) 2100 m.u.a.s.l Here, once we check ourselves at the control gate, we start or walk visiting the complex of Chachabamba small Inca precinct and then, we go up for approximately 3 hours as far as a waterfall near the complex of Wiñay Wayna
This beautiful place houses fountains, precincts and lots of orchids that surround it as its name Wiñay Wayna (2650 m.u.a.s.l) means forever young.
At almost five minute walk we have lunch at a tourist restaurant of the site in order to continue walking 6 Km., more as far as Machupicchu.
We visit Inti Punku or (Sun Gate) (2700 m.u.a.s.l.) entrance to the Citadel and a resting point where we will rest and enjoy the magnificent view.
Then we will take the bus from Machupicchu to Aguas Calientes where the lodging waits for us.
We walk for about 12 Km. during this day.

DAY 2 MACHUPICCHU - AGUAS CALIENTES

Alter early breakfast we take the first buses to Machupicchu 6.00 am .Once at
Machupicchu our tour guide is going to explain in a interesting two hour tour visiting all over the place. Finally we recommend to visit the Inca Bridge or Waynapicchu.
We are meeting later at Aguas Calientes for getting the train back to Cusco. This is the end of our tour after our transfer picks us up to the hotel.
